I am trying to edit a word press theme, mainly the nav bar but i don’t know where to look for the ul and li items for the list. grateful for any help.

There are many ways to do it. But if you are in wordpress.com, you can’t edit the theme unless you pay css upgrade.

If you are in selfhosted wordpress (wordpress.org) you can do it by: Admin dashboard/Appearance/Editor, look for style.css, but backup your theme first before changing something.

What are some of the best Wordpress themes to buy…are there any with tables?

Any thoughts on Thesis?

You can make wordpress theme to look like a regular website if you know how. I would not go for Thesis as it is a bit complicated to customize if you are beginner.

Default theme of wordpress 3.0 is looking nice and very very easy to customize.

I entered app manager, i’ve found the themes i want to delete. I pressed options and there’s no "uninstall" word. But, there is "remove". Is remove a good way to delete it? I’ve searched the web and lots of people does uninstall instead of remove. But the thing is, i can’t find the word uninstall. Thanks for your time.

I cant find my word press directory. Is it in my FTP?

I want to connect a wordpress theme to a page. This is the code I have to use.

Normally, you will put your themes in the folder wp-content -> themes.

I have made my photoshop design for my website, and I have also created and tested a working dreamweaver template, although, I am a designer and am not into coding, and I want to make a blog, I understand word press & a custom theme would be the best way to go, but does anyone know how I can make a custom theme for wordpress.

I know there is options like psd2css & so on, but I really am looking for something else.

What would you recommend to be the easiest way to make a entirely custom made wordpress theme?

When i asked that someone gave me the link of a tutorial that was very good but i don’t have the functions that the tutorial showed.For example i don’t have "Add new themes" and "install themes" and i really don’t understand why.I saw there’s "Edit CSS" too but when i try to add a theme it’s not complete and i see just a part of the theme.I am losing my patience..can someone please explain me how to do it?

You can upload the theme directory via FTP to this directory /wp-content/themes

Once it is uploaded, go to your wordpress admin. Under the Appearance menu, there is a link called Themes. Click that and then click to activate the theme you want to display.
