I’m trying to open an Etsy site, which is for crafters to sell thier products. I have a wide range of crafts to put up. My newest is jewelry made from wine bottles and a whole wine country theme. I’ve begun selling products a local winery so I’d like to put some on the website too.

In addition to the jewelry, I do highly detailed dog portraits. I’d like to put those up too on etsy. In the past I’ve also done watercolors, pressed flowers, book illustrator, cake decorator and whatever I come up with. So it ranges pretty widley.

Since it ranges, I don’t want to have jewelry or wine in the name. I was thinking something Like Hannah’sHobbies, since my name is Hannah. But I would like to be taken seriously and I feel that the word hobby isn’t serious enough. I’m also thinking of HannahHof******Designs. I kind of like the alliteration in my first and last name, but I’m affraid that it might be a long name. I was also thinking of something compleatly out there. My favorite flower is columbine, and I was thinking of naming it curious columbine, or colorful columbine, or columbine crafts…..but do people know that columbine is a flower and won’t associate it with the school shooting? The other thought is something about Thimbleweed. Unfortuantly "thimbleweed" is taken, but maybe something like spring thimbleweed, not sure wher to go with that….I could really use some help here!

I think a lot of people will associate columbine with the school shooting. I actually didn’t realize that it’s a flower until I read your question. And if you do an online search, the top listings are all related to the school.

You could use the scientific classification genus name for columbine instead, which is Aguilegia. So maybe a name like "Aguilegia Arts & Crafts"? Some people might perceive this as a little geeky, but on the other hand a lot of people might not have any idea what the word Aguilegia means.

Of the options you listed, I like HannahHof*****Designs best. A few other options along similiar lines that you might consider –
HHDesigns
Double H Designs
C & T Designs (the C standing for "columbine" and the T for "thimbleweed")
