Using the Wordpress theme,Press row, Is it possible to make the main column wider?

Author: I am using the theme Press row for my word press blog. I want to make the main column of my blog wider so I can display 600×500 pics (at the moment displaying a picture as large as this leads to the picture overlapping my other column).
I hope this makes sense, and if anyone could advise me how to do this I would be very grateful – as simply as possible as I’m quite computer illiterate!!

If you’re on WordPress.com, you’ll have to opt for custom CSS to pull this off.
In the time I’ve been using WordPress, I’ve found it easier just to resize the pictures before uploading: anything over 500 wide breaks my theme. A 480 x 400 will probably fit just fine.
