Should I be using wordpress or dreamweaver for this site?
I want to learn web design and would like to ask whether I should learn wordpress or dreamweaver CS4 to make a site like this:
http://www.truthaboutabs.com/
I want to create around 20 websites that look similar to this so:
What would be easier?
I am prepared to take on a learning curve if need be.
you could create a similar site with either wordpress or dw… it is really up to you…
however, dw offers a better long term tool for future site development in that if you learn the ‘how to’ things in dw, you can expand for more complex sites later… wordpress has some limitations for ease of design creation, though if you have the patience to dig into all of the files you can really do just about anything with wordpress – it is unlikely, though that you would be able to take the majority of what you learn to do in wordpress and translate that to any type of career – I have yet to see a job posting for wordpress designer.
of course there are other design tools you could use but dw is as good a place as any to start with…

that is not a blog so you should not use wordpress.
you should use dreamweaver (but that’s a bit too complicated) or another editor that for this purpose is more effective than dreamweaver, such http://www.easywebeditor.com or http://www.1site.info

Hi Gabby,
I know the website you referred to – b.t.w. it has a good affiliate program!
Ok, let me be short and sweet. If the abs site is what you would like to do, please refer to something I have written on "The best web design software".
I do believe that the extremely powerful features, ease of use and affordability may impress you. Details at http://www.webtoolshub.com
