If you’ve had someone upload your site info onto a CMS/ wordpress template…?
can ANY of the text be changed by you when you need to? Its just that I’ve paid this guy, he sent through the finished package to me and also the web hoster, and after that I noticed a mistake (a big one) in the text on the site! So that I don’t have to muck around contacting this guy again I need to know can I change ANY of the text or images myself through wordpress> or only parts?? is the process easy?
Thanks a lot for your help.

That’s what the CMS is for, but you also can log into your Control Panel and edit pages from there.

Did you sign some kind of a contract with him? If you did, it would be best to read it to see if you’re violating his terms. This kind of question is hard for joe blow off the street to answer. Is it an image that needs to be fixed? Is it a post?
He probably should have let you preview his work before uploading the finished product. I would contact him and point out the mistake and ask politely if he could fix it. Whenever I’m done doing work for someone, I always leave the door open and ask them to please let me know if they see something they are unhappy with. If there is, I fix it – no problem.
